The Life Science Sales and Marketing Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of commercial professionals working across the science industry. Now in their third year, the awards are an opportunity to shine a light on you, or your team’s, efforts over the past year.

From creative marketers building brands from the ground up, to sales professionals winning their biggest deals yet, here are some of our previous winners’ stories:

Diane Royer - Winner of Marketing Professional of the Year

“Together, we’re shaping the future of life sciences.”

Previous LSSM winner Diane Royer of Neuroservices-Alliance was named Marketing Professional of the Year in 2024, recognizing both her individual contribution and the wider impact that strategic marketing can have within the life sciences industry.

Over six years, Marketing Manager Diane helped build the Neuroservices-Alliance brand from the ground up using an omnichannel approach and thoughtful digital marketing activities that connected researchers with pharmaceutical companies. Her marketing campaigns led to substantial growth in brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation, which got her the win.

Reflecting on her win, she described the award as “an incredible honor” and shows that small teams can achieve big things. She believes that strategic thinking and creativity can have a lasting impact, even in a highly technical industry like life sciences.

Hear from Diane on what winning meant to her:

Jessica Evans - Winner of Sales Professional of the Year award

“What an absolute joy it is to be recognized for doing something that I love!”

Previous LSSM award winner Jessica was recognized for her outstanding contribution to business development and sales in the life sciences, despite being early in her career!

After leaving the lab to pursue a career in Business Development, Jessica quickly found that her real passion lay in connecting with scientists, understanding their challenges and helping them to move their research forward. In her role, she stepped up to lead sales with remarkable independence, securing the company’s largest-ever deal.

Reflecting on her recognition, Jessica said the most rewarding part of the job is engaging with scientists around the world and playing even a small part in research that ultimately aims to improve human health and quality of life.
